i'm looking to install a head unit in my boat that has the ability to interface with an ipod. i'm considering the kenwood as it seems to be a pretty straight forward set up but i was looking for some input from everyone else. what have you guys used and how do you like it?

they have a few ipod options on the higher end units.
I installed a pioneer premier [2yr warranty] deh-p770, the non-premier deh-P7700mp is the same unit with 1 yr warranty.
they use the ibus connection and have 3 rca preout. I also installed a kicker kx700.5 for the 4 boat speakers and a polk sub.
I like the idea of the cd being behind the flip down face, it gives you extra splash proof protection, that big cd slot opening in the front of some cd players would seem like easy water entry.
I have not used Kenwood in several years, I think Kenwood, alpine, pioneer, JVC, sony all have good equipment just find the options you like.
