Getting a newer MC?

Thats the plan. I will probably end up ordering another X25.

Should have included this in the first post. I will discuss serious offers. Just send me a PM if interested. Weather is still warm enough for lake testing here.

Lowering price to $67,000. It will be hard to find another X25 in this condition for this price. I would prefer not to keep the boat over winter.

Wish I'd waited. Just bought 09 xstar couple months ago. X25 is what I really wanted. Nothing good was available then.

Can't believe it's lasted this long. Gorgeous boat.

Missed this thread until now. Great boat and really great price. Surprised it hasn't moved yet. But if I were going from an '11 to '14 X25 I'd just trade it in. Probably a 10% price difference.

Thanks! Trade in was my initial thought, but my dealer was stuck on giving me low 50s for the boat, which I believe is insane.

Tough call. If I think back, I bought an 05 197 in '07 and traded it back in '08 and took a relative beating. Then I traded in an '08 X14 in '09 and did very well. Yours is priced right. If you can hold off for up to 4-5 months you will easily get your price on that boat.

That is a good price. I've only seen one listed for less. They usually don't come with a trailer at that price.

Alright, I know it's off season and I really need to move this boat to make room for a new one. I'm dropping the price to $63,000. It's a great price for an amazing boat. Let your friends and family know. :)

Unreal!!! There is no way I'd let go of that for that price... I'd have to tell the dealer to be patient.

Does it come with the carpet? Does it have underwater lights?

Yes carpet is included. No underwater lights. I never stay out that late. :)

That's a deal for that boat!
If I was 3000mi closer and going to even see my X2 in the next 12 mo I'd slap a for sale sign on it and buy yours!

I would be interested, but HP is a bit low. Do you notice that at times?

Jonb1822

Never. I put the OJ 5 blade prop on it and it makes an amazing difference. We surf sometimes with 2800lbs of ballast and it never bogs down. You can look through the forum and see that a number of people are running the same setup and love it. I am buying a new X25 and I am going with the 5.7 again. I would rather put the money elsewhere. Now before someone blows me up, yes you will see a difference with the 6.0 & 6.2 but with the x25, the right prop with the 5.7 is plenty. If I was getting anything bigger than the x30 I would get a bigger engine.

I wouldn't lower the price any further. It was priced right initially. I don't think it hasn't sold because of price. The right buyer just hasn't come along yet.

Is there a chance you could take a picture of the interior with the carpet in? Before showing my wife I think it needs the darker carpet to tone down all the white. Great looking X-25!

I wouldn't change your price. That's a lot of boat for a great price.

Thanks JohnE I agree! I think the price is more than fair.

Gocougs - will get you some pictures with the carpet. I'll post them up tonight or tomorrow.

Congrats, you priced it right. It just needed a boat show to get everyone in the mood!

My neighbor just sold his Cobalt on Friday, no test drive guy just walked around it and said I'll take it. It was in great shape and no problems so he'll be fine, but I personally would never buy a boat without a water test.

Thanks. The guy who is picking mine up, never did a water test. I asked him numerous times, but he said based on the condition he wasn't worried about it. Surprised me.

That would be risky in a lot of sale situations, but he obviously got a good feeling from you.
