Checking to see if there is any interest in my factory 18" chrome wheels. Off a 2008 trailer, I think the size is 18" x 9" 5 lug on 4.5" center with a +18 mm offset. kMC badlands, wheels are nexen n3000, 255/45/18. Small curb rash on one rim, can get pics of it if someone is interested. Tires are near new, approx 300 miles on them. 700obo. Buyer pays shipping.

I just may end up powder coating these after all. Not a lot of interest in them, and I don't want to have an extra set of wheels and tires around, as I already have three. :D I'll leave them up for a bit longer, but I don't need to sell them.

I would have thought they would have gone quickly as well.

I thought I priced them too low... obviously I was wrong.

Great deal, but I have no use for them with my trailer used 2-3 times a year only... my galvanized ones will do...

bump for a great deal!

$700 is a screaming deal. If someone wants to change to these tires and wheels for their trailer with 14" or 15" wheels, I can supply the fenders required to make them fit.

I honestly have no idea, my postal code is T4S 2J3 if you want to check what it would cost to get them to your location.

So your saying all five together weigh 354 lbs? Would it be better to ship them loose or all wrapped together? Would it go through customs ok with the tires mounted on the wheels?

Might be able to palletize them... Shouldn't be an issue going over border, I'm pretty sure that happens every day.

With bare tires its.cheapest to ship them bundled as pairs. For wheels with tires on them I always ship each wheel with tire on it separately. Having the tire on the rim does an awesome job of protecting it. All you have to is cut out cardboard discs (same diameter as the tire or just slightly smaller) and slap them on the front and back of the wheels. Then tape around the whole mess several times in 3 different directions with packing tape. Or you could just band them all to a pallet, lol.

All good info here. Wrapping the pairs in shrinkwrap is also a good way to keep them together and offer another layer of protection.

So I suppose if I use the cardboard discs and then shrink wrap them, I'd have all the bases covered.

Will do. I'll get a pic as soon as I pick it up, post them on here. It isn't much, but has always bugged me... Especially since I didn't do it. Just trying to be forthcoming with all info.

Hey Scott, sorry to thread jack, but who's making your cover?

Hey Scott, sorry to thread jack, but who's making your cover?

C&M Upholstery. They do great work. Ratchets in both sides, reinforced in all areas that are high risk to wear, clips for the rub rails rust hold the cover on for transport and a ten year water proof warranty.

Here are the scuffs on the wheel. Had to search to find them.

Here's the new cover. Got it in Sunbrella, warranty is huge. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

That cover looks great! I think I would like to use that cover for towing but when I'm on the water I would use the one that doesn't cover the platform.

Scott, could provide some info on your surf lights? Brand? Power Supply?

Thanks,
Rich

Rich, they are factory MC surf lights. Assume they are MCBD...
