Thanks for all the input I looked at the boat and it was way rougher than the man said so I passed on it. It was very sun faded interior was I need of being redone. I bought something else.

03s are known for bad interiors and the 03 I owned had problems with the gauges which I'm seen others experience. Not saying I wouldn't buy another for the right price but I would certainly be looking closely at those areas and my price would take those areas into serious consideration.

I'm not seeing many 197/ X7's selling for much under $30K. Though with the new prostar out that may change.

What gauge problems are you referring to? I have noticed on several gauges around that year, including mine, have small cracks in the plastic face. Functionally, mine work fine.

If yours are working correctly you're doing good. Mine worked well in the morning and would quit as the day went along. My dealer was quite well versed in the issue and supposedly had a piece of test gear that would diagnose gauge and MDC issues. I didn't have any problems with cracks.

That doesn't answer the question. What DID you buy is very different than what DIDN'T you buy. Come on, spill it.

04 centurion t5 comp 275 hours ballast system, wakeboard tower, perfect pass, very nice boat really close to show room condition. I no it's not a MC but I got a little guy he's 8 Months old when he gets old enough to ride I will spend more on a boat. We originally went from Chicago to Jupiter Florida to buy a Moomba that turned out to be the biggest pile of **** so we were trying to get something out of are 1400 mile trip one way and we bought this in TN on the way home. I also looked at that x7 on the way home but it also was too rough for me. I'm not a big brand savvy guy I will drive a Ford Dodge or a Chevy and I go the same way with boats I buy what ever I get a good deal on.
