I'm not sure. I'm not that familiar with Minneapolis. I sure hope the weather is better than today was..

Bald Eagle is a decent lake with a great boat launch and park facility. 1046 acres with relatively dark water. The south and west shore make for good runs with protection. There is a slalom course on the South end of the West shore, though I don't know anything about it. There is a very unfriendly rock bar on the NE corner of the lake though it is marked well.

EricB. Where do you set a course on Balsam? Little Balsam?

Our cabin is on Loveless down the road. My neighbor puts a course on ours quit a bit and know there is a permanent course on Half Moon

In Little Balsam, very close to the LB boat landing. As I understand it, Half Moon no longer has a course. I did not see it there this early summer either.

Mike-I don't live in MN thank you. Kind of weird way to drum up tourism hugh?

Eric,
FYI the Half Moon course is alive and well. There are tournament skiers on that lake that practice. I skied it a few weeks ago.
