Ned- Did you get any bites on it last year when it was for sale? I'm 95 % sure this is the boat on the side of route 10 heading north to Hanover right hand side of the road. In fact I bet I can dig up a photo of it that a friend sent to me. True?

Covi - Not this boat.

Some more background... this boat purchased by me in 2007 from po with 72 hrs. I have all original documents / manuals. Also have records of maintenance.

Thanks. Willing to consider TT discount... but not sure about your offer. I'm in NH... right on the border with MA.

It's a solid offer. Here's the estimated retail off of NADA website with the 330 HP MCX motor option. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/08/23/gybepa2a.jpg

no offense but nada on boats is always way off! I think his asking price is a solid value for what the boat is worth.

for 17 I'd push it from NH to ATL...

Some more pics. Thanks for nada info and comments. "Average retail" is closer to what this excellent boat is worth. With low hours and extras (covers, props +).

Covi - To clarify... boat not from / in Hanover NH.

This forum is great and all comments are appreciated. Peace.

The boat looks very nice and well cared for. I agree nada values are typically low but as you know, a boats value can vary depending on many factors. This is not the best time of the year to sell. I'm sure if he holds out he'll get $20k but $17k cash isn't a crazy offer. The nada value was also for the 330 HP MCX engine option which is typically a $1000 add on. Earlier this summer a TT member was selling an 01 X5, it was a beautiful boat out of Ohio. I offered him $17k and he declined. At the time I was also looking at an 01 209 here in Nashville. Not to drag this out any further the 209 sold for $18,500 and the X5 eventually sold for $16500. In my opinion both boats were worth more. My personal budget is $17000 and it never hurts to make an offer.

Would including the complete BI boom (with new pylon clamp and cable clip) in the price interest anybody?

Thanks. I have been a bit ocd with the boat. Many can vouch for that! I had outlined the "non-routine" maintenance done in description contained in original post... maintenance highlights; fuel pump, paddle wheel, steering cable, lift cylinders (seats, etc.). Also did fuel level sensor. I still have the failed fuel pump assembly as I thought I might rebuild it as spare.

if I knew I could sell my boat quick I would buy it. Unfortunately it's a bad time to sell. Still going to check with the wife though...

Accepted offer and boat scheduled to be picked up tomorrow. I guess I should simply state... sold.

Thanks to all TT posters who recognized this Prostar as what it was... one of the best kept boats you ever gonna find for a fair price. I must admit... surprised the TT forum was not the channel that connected new owner with this boat.

Beginning to contemplate the next big decision... next Prostar!
