Agreed again. Those are nice looking. Almost as nice as a 93 sns! The blue lt1 is awesome though.

ohhh, i didn't realize it was a decal. Are stars and stripes gel or decal?

If I'm not mistaken, the flag, stars and writing are decals, the blue is gel. Good looking boats.

They are all over and beautiful.

This one lives in Northeast Ohio and was at the Buckeye Bash last year!

Really... So the boat is just plain white!?!?

Not quite. The blue banner is metal flake paint/gel. But the red & white stripes and stars are stickers.

Very nice boat. I'm with Mike on the hours though. Suspiciously low.

It is low hours but people say the same about my 91 at 612 hours. Thats a beautiful boat!

612 seems more feasible for the age. My 93 has around 700. 200 could be true, but it's pretty low for the year. Some people just don't put that many on...

It still has the 30th logos glued to the seat, I would say this boat has spent more time in a garage than outdoors.

The way those logos were glued on was a **** design. Spend anytime in the sun and the adhesive pulls away.

Nice looking boat and its got the swag trailer to boot. Excellent price if its for real.

Sitting on a conference call and staring at this boat...does it look like the driver side windshield is gone?

Notice that there are no images of that area and the pictures are very careful to avoid it.

Don't know if I'm a sleuth or if I've been sitting in front of this monitor for too long :D

The windshield is indeed missing: http://www.mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=56966

The fact they didn't disclose that in the ad says a lot to me...

I'd go dollars to doughnuts he swapped the hour meter then. Dishonesty is rarely a shallow pool.

Hmmmm, that seems to be a big jump.... I don't know the seller, but a missing piece of glass doesn't automatically make the seller a liar and a cheat.

It makes him dishonest... It's the old 'he didn't lie, he just didn't volunteer the truth'.

I wouldn't buy anything off a guy like that.

No... it doesn't mean he switched the hour meter...

It's not that big of a jump for me, perhaps because I've caught people and dealers alike that you would never suspect, doing it.

When it's buyer beware, I don't trust anyone.

There's a barefoot 200 that's roaming around a thread on here, that was on a cl for $500. Really beat up. I contacted the owner about a possible refurb project. Nice guy. Sent me a ton of pics. Turned out the transom was badly cracked and needed replaced. I passed. Someone else bought it, dropped a motor on it, and it is now on another Craigslist for $4500, and either the guy selling doesn't know enough about boats to know he's gonna be screwing somebody, or he's Ok with it. Most likely the latter since he knows enough to get a motor rigged on it.

I'm not accusing anybody of anything, I'm only saying I wouldn't trust it personally. There's too many great boats out there to not trust the guy you're buying it from.

I was in the boat business for almost 10 years, and I've been around and in competition ski boats my entire life. There's no lack of shady deals out there. Not everybody is as honest as you or I Scott.

I agree with everything you said. Just saying i don't think its fair to assume the worst.

It might be that it malfunctioned at some point. I can attest to this as my boat shows 283 hours on the meter but it has not worked since about the third year. I will say I feel that there are much better things to look at than hours on a boat.

When you're spending that kind of $, you're obliged to, Imo. Maybe others would disagree. The author of the post above this doesn't seem to mind.

And who knows, maybe it did break... Maybe he's not the original owner and the last guy replaced it. Who knows.

All I know is if I was buying a boat, I would be asking these questions. I disagree with the contention that other things are more important. If you make a list of top 3 questions you ask before buying a used boat, hours on boat is one of the three for me.
