Hi all, first post. Just bought my first boat, a 79 19 skier. I got it from a freind of mine and he had the flore redone and a new seat base made. I love it. Took it down to Noris this past weekend and had a great time.

Very Nice!

I have seen the I/O before but never a v-drive of that vintage.

Although it looks like a pain to change the impeller, belt, etc.

I wonder what the story was for pushing the weight of the engine so far back ... trick skiing? Can you post some pictures of the wake sometime.

I passed you on the way to the bridge....that was you right? I think you tied up to a few others? Sweet ride!

That was me, always a good time at the bridge!

From what I was told, Mastercraft built the hull and then sent it to PCM to get fitted with the drive train.

Easier than norm to get at the sides and tyranny tho. Trade offs...

Now i feel better knowing i am not alone!;) . I was pretty sure we knew every special boat MC ever made and saw it all here.
Reading the title i was sure it was an error...
Suddenly that little skiboat had way more room !
A nice clean pic of the wake at 34-36 would be great to compare with DD.

That Mastercraft is a Rare one.

Must have been a concept boat that didnt make it ?

The I/O version looks very similar.

That is a piece of history.

Thats the boat I was looking for pictures of. From the story I was told MC made 4 hulls and finished 2, my boat and that stern drive. Its the sister boat to mine.

That is a totally amazing boat. Crazy how we have come full circle. Next thing you know the 2014 Prostar will look like the old Ski Brendella from the side.

That is the coolest boat I've seen on TT in a while! The I/O that Peter posted has been around for a while, but your boat...the color, the graphics, the condition...is one of a kind!

What's the wake like with the I/O?
You would think These boats would be worth some cash? Does MC have a museum of any sorts? Like collecting old Harley's .

CC actually was producing the Separator/Spoiler/Torino v-drives in the late 60's.

The windshield is a little tacky, but all in all I'd say that boat looks way ahead of it time actually. The interior and general design look much like a modern boat. Pretty impressive Imo.

spent all weekend rewiring the boat and take it out to test everything and went well untill I turned the motor off. It hydro locked on me big time. Had to pull the plugs and crank it over foe a while to get all of the water out. I need to get new exhaust flappers, they are not closing at all.
The joys of owning a boat.
