I got married this past weekend and decided the next day that my best man and myself would put on our tuxes and do some wakeboarding the next day. We got a video also of the occasion. I tried to get my new wife in her wedding dress to wakeboard but she was understandably not on board with it. We dried out our tuxes the tux shop never knew the difference!

Here is the photographic proof!

We hung dried them overnight and they were a little wrinkled, but the tux shop never noticed the difference.

Congrats on the wedding. Cool idea.

I am getting married in less than 2 weeks. Although I bought my tuxedo, so no surfing in mine.

Nice! I think I have returned tuxes in worse condition than that. And not from the lake.

Not uncommon in my earlier days either, Peter. Maybe a different way but certainly in poor condition.:(

I actually asked the tux shop a few months ago what to do if someone were to "fall" into the lake while taking wedding pics. They said to hang everything and the tux should be find. They should have seen the MC sticker on my Jeep and known better.

I had the guys pay $6 extra for insurance on the tuxes. That way if we competely ruin them, which might happen, we won't be out any additional money

Glad I'm not the only one to ruin a perfectly good tux...

Not trying to steal your thunder but I think this is an appropriate photo of my wife and I. We did a "trash the dress" shoot.

Last year our son's HS graduation was on Memorial Day Weekend - always a big lake weekend for us and coincidentally, the first weekend we got in our new lake house. He wanted nothing to do with the graduation given the option, so we had our own Cap and Gown Ceremony on the water - the Cap was kind of tough to wakeboard with, but it floated pretty well :D A little Pomp and Circumstance blaring through the speakers was appropriate too. We got a lot of great pics and cheers from other boats on the lake - much more memorable than sitting in an auditorium for hours.
