Well that's one way to avoid trailer issues...no blown bearings...no lights to worry about...

I suspect this is just a haul job, but that top must be seriously reinforced!

Why didn't I ever think of that? That guy is smart! But he probably needs a really steep and deep launch ramp...

Belcher Trucking did this with mine and towed a CSX behind from the factory to Chicago back in '07

I thought everyone with a CC had to do this, as CC doesn't supply trailers with their boats.

If you don't use a trailer you don't need to keep the speed down to the maximum towing speed limit.

This just seems way more trouble than it's worth. I'm sure it corners great. Unless they're also towing a 2nd boat, I can't see the point of this.

Correct Craft used to make a tandem boat trailer for delivery to dealers. There was a pic of it but I can't find it now.

I just want the tsc2 boat. Don't care how it gets here.

I've seen pics of mc's on top of the truck too, usually with a trailer though.

The people sitting in the boat reminded me of the Top Gear double decker races. Top car steers, bottom car does the gas and brakes.

So what's the story about this COZ? Did you take the pic or find it somewhere?

My dad has a similar setup on his truck, except he only hauls an 11' dinghy. The bunks extend out and rotate down so he can launch it from his truck. He built it so he could pull his truck and boat behind his motor home.

It's a scan of a small pic on a crappy scanner. I think you'd have to have a super high res glassless scanner to get what you're looking for, and I don't have one...

That is really not a bad idea. Many of the small lakes in my area are so low you cannot launch a boat. If you had a big truck with a crane attached to it and space on back to haul the boat, then you could drive to the side of the lake and just lift the boat into the water. Would have the lake to yourself. I need a big truck with a crane.

Probably. Or maybe the net weight of the load on the car? My Chris craft is about the same size as that one, and with motor and all stripped out of it, it wasn't really heavy. Myself and two friends flipped it upside down by hand for the new bottom...

I've never weighed it, but I'd guess under 2500 pounds total on mine.
