Looking for a manual that would instruct me how to winterizing my boat. Would like to learn how to winterizing instead of sending my boat to somplace and pay someone to do it. My boat is 1995 MasterCraft ProStar 190 Sammy Duvall. I use at fresh water lake. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Doug's checklists work well.

Thanks, Leroy. Theres also a good how-to on Aquaskier (http://www.aquaskier.com/articles/boat_storage_and_winterization.htm). Mine was compiled using the MC owner's manual, the aquaskier how-to, and lots and lots of messages on this board with considerable attention paid to JimN's posts on various subjects.
David, you can winterize in 5 minutes (10 if you feel the need to use antifreeze (personal choice)). The annual maintenance is what consumes some time. But it's still easy. I'm not what you'd call mechanical either.
As they say, "Nothing to it, but to do it."
Apparently, the FAQ has grown, this link (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?p=103139#post103139) goes to the page with the winterization question on it.

Many THANKS to you for providing useful information about how to winterizing my boat. It's so hard for me to leave my baby at the shop and let someone do the winterization job. I plan to start winterizing my boat sometime in November, that way I can enjoy boating here before the cold weather arrives.

Good for you. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Someone will have an answer posted pretty quick. Then we'll all talk it to death for the next couple of days. ;) Good luck. And welcome to the board.

Plus if you get into it and have a problem, post a question and it will be answered in minutes almost always!
I did that the first year, got started, something different from the checklist, post question, answered in <10 minutes, went back out and completed the task!
This is a great site!
