Looking at a 97 PS 205 with MC trailer, tower, bimini and FI 350 motor. It has 1100 hours. It is in good condition with a few minor scapes/nicks on the hull and original vinyl in usable/good condition.

It will probably need a steering cable as it is quite stiff to turn.

Owner is asking $14.5K with boards, ropes, vests.

I offered $12.5K without the equipment.

Any thoughts?

$2000 for the equipment? How much equipment was there exactly? :D

1100 hours is a bit high but you haven't given alot of detail. Any salt use? Any major work performed? How long till you have to re-do interior? Trailer condition? Stereo?

No salt water use. Apparently no engine work other than oil and tune up on schedule. The interior is "good enough" for at least 2-3 yrs IMO. It's at the state of having some minor (less than 1/2") cuts here and there, but no to the state of justifying being replaced yet.

It has a radio and speakers, but I don't really care about pimped out systems.

I offered $12.5, he will take $13K. The equipment is rope, a couple of boards, some vests. All of it is older stuff that I don't need/want.

Trailer is in good condition. The nonskid on the fenders is coming off.

After a compression test and a test drive, I'd jump on it. Any pics?

Don't mess around for $2,000. This boat will sell at 14.5K. If you can get it for less great deal, if you get it for full price...still a great deal. Test drive is a must!

If he will take $13000, buy it now before he decides to decline. This is a nice boat for that money.
