My '91 glove box cover warps every summer. Every winter I take it off, turn it upside down and place weights on top of it to straigten it out. It's ready to go by the next spring. Does anyone else have this, and if so, what do you do with it?

Mine hasn't warped. Is it really that much worse in Hotlanta? Do you store outside?

Always stored inside. I believe it started because the latch had to be pushed down to engage (i.e it was to tight a seal). By the time I noticed it, the sides had warped up. I don't even put the latch mechanism on anymore, but the damage had been done.

The glovebox door on an '01 & '93 are way different. The '93 is probably the same as mine, a flat glossy black plexiglass piece. And I think the '01 is a domed black piece made of ABS or something similar. Sounds like you should try adjusting the lock mechanism or the hinges so they latch correctly.

I must have been reading too fast....... same ones. So is there any adjustment if you loosen the hinges or lock?

I've loosened the latch so much that I've taken it off :)

Mine only warps when I put enough stuff in it to fill a large suitcase! Once I started getting rid of the crap it began to lie flat once again. I am sure this is not the case but mine now looks good :D
