I want to share what Iíve found. When I purchased my boat this is what my sticker looked like:

http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab280/hig69/98%20Mastercraft/20130604_174939_zpsd808b848.jpg (http://s871.photobucket.com/user/hig69/media/98%20Mastercraft/20130604_174939_zpsd808b848.jpg.html)

I did a lot of searching and I found threads on the Capacity Stickers but it did not seem like any of them found a solution as to where to get replacement sticker. I did a google search and found this web site:

http://garzonstudio.com/capacities-decal/4x4-a.html

I ordered one, they were having issues with their web site so the form I filled out did not come through with the information but they emailed me right back. I ended up sending them the pic of the sticker I wanted copied, they summited an approval pic and a few days later I received the sticker. I wish the yellow was brighter but compared to what I had itís great.

http://i871.photobucket.com/albums/ab280/hig69/98%20Mastercraft/CapacitySticker_zpsb2401fb6.jpg (http://s871.photobucket.com/user/hig69/media/98%20Mastercraft/CapacitySticker_zpsb2401fb6.jpg.html)

I am not associated with this company and Iím not sure in the long run how the sticker will hold up but I figured for $20 it was worth a shot. If you check out their website you will see a link to Facebook where they have a lot of boat related decals pictured.

It was suggested to start a thread where people could ask for pics of legible sticker so they can be copied.

I hope others find this helpful!!

I guess any sign shop that can print on silver film can do it, please correct me if I'm wrong. I talked to Charolette Mastercraft and they told me the sign shop across the road made theirs when needed.

Probably true, but I'm guessing that the cost will be higher for a sign shop that hasn't already created a template - it'll take time to get it set up the first time.

$20.00 and mine will be here the middle of next week. Garzon Studio will email you a proof to review and approve.

Fun these old decals were printed with a dot matrix printer. It's amazing they lasted this long. I believe the originals are a polyester (mylar) probably run on a offset press. Can believe mine still looks good...

Not required on boats 20 feet or longer. My 230VRS doesn't have one either.

Hey hig, thanks for posting this find! I have done a bunch of refurbish on my 96 Prostar and the sticker always bugged me, looking old and beat up next to a brand new dash...I know, pretty anal and all. I read this post, and immediately went to the site, and ordered a replacement. They are cool to work with, I filled out the form and within 15 minutes got an email with the sample asking if it was correct. A quick reply, and it's printed and I'm the mail! Cool, looking forward to getting this little change done too (guaranteed to be the easiest fix I've done so far).

Jeffer -
Can you post a picture of yours, for people like charrison who can't read theirs?

Just asking........any chance we can set up a library of capacity stickers. I would be the first to post one of mine if it was usable, so instead asking for a pic of a 1988 Prostar 190!

That was the thought of this thread, to have a place with reference pics and people asking for specific ones that weren't listed but if a moderator wanted to create a sticky it could be used just for pics.

Thoughts?

Sorry, been trying to upload mine, but I'm on vacation and it won't seem to go from my iPad. I will definitely post Sunday night or Monday for my 1996 Prostar 190.

I could email it, if anyone wants to send me an email address via a PM, otherwise hold tight! And yes, I am on the water...and putting a new stereo in the boat during my downtime!

Download your owners manual, there is an image of one there...

yeah, i downloaded that, but unfortunately, some of my stuff is different from the 95 manual. there isn't a specific 96 manual on the mastercraft site for some reason. a lot of the dash stuff is different and i think the capacity is different as well. i want to say the original says 9.......but it is really faded and i'm not 100%. the difference in one person wouldn't bother me any, but i want to keep it as factory and stock as possible as i continue to fix it up....that's why I was hoping someone with a 96 190 could shed a little light for me.

Hey charrison327, I sent you the picture. I can not upload ANY pictures, I get an error every time, and I do not know why, so feel free to report the one I sent you on PM, it's from my 1996 Prostar 190.
I wonder if I'm the only one suddenly having trouble...weird.
thanks!

Stuck mine on today. Looks 100% factory. I should have snapped a pic. Maybe I will if I get board at Powell.

hey Hig, thanks for posting it! got mine today in the mail, looks perfect, worth the $20 IMO. One thing I did notice, though, was the Maryville TN reference on mine (which I had added to the replacement) vs. others I had seen. I guess I don't know my Mastercraft manufacturing trivia...

By the way, 9 persons is just fine for my family...we are skinny. I'm planning on gaining 20-30 pounds each over the course of the next couple years and getting a new sticker that says "4". It's my reverse diet plan....

I'm glad you guys are happy with them, I like feeling like I'm giving back to the site when I've learned so much from it!!

My Mastercraft says Vonore, TN. How many factories are/were there?

This may me a slight thread jack and I'll apologize up front. Can someone give me insight on why the 197 went from 10 passengers and 1340 lbs to 7 passengers between 03 and my 08?
