If anyone wants a 1981 s@s hull it's free come pick it up. Bare hull no trailer. Will sell trail or and parts if desired. Hull needs floor and a couple hood patches. Keith 408-605-9688 if its not gone in a week it's getting cut up. And I have a title for it.

Wow. Too bad you are in CF. GL, but you should have no problem finding someone to take it off your hands.

Some one needs to turn this into a " FUN BOAT " .. clean it up strip the interior glass where the motor went and make a flat floor re carpet it . keep the swim platform anchor it out behind the house and let the kids play in it and swim to

That is a great idea, until it rains so much, it sinks the boat.

Good place for LED nav lights. Very little drain on the battery. Maybe a solar battery charger. They don't put out a lot but likely enough for the pump and lights.

Wish you were near me, I'd take it.
Why not donate it to your local MC dealer to be used as a sign, wall hanging, etc?

It's still available because no one has a way to bring it back.

If the trailer came with it the the whole rig would have been snatched up within 5 min of his post.

It would be cool to remove the running gear and put the boat on a very low profile dolley. Of course after a good polishing and wax job.

Then instead of cutting it. Put it in a retail board shop and build a wooden shelf like produce sits on. Make a cool design on the end caps. Sell t shirts or board shorts off of the boat. Platform could me used for either flip flops or something.

So if the boat sat 6" off of the floor the top shelf could be reached by an adult standing on the ground. Possibly 3 shelfs.

Or

Someone on a lake that has a restaurant should snag it. Turn it into a salad bar. Obviously sitting low to floor and the top cap would be bar level.

If it were close enough to me, I would drop my boat in the lake and hit the road with my trailer.

Its close to me and I would snatch it up too if I had a trailer to put it on.

Someone could get a 20' flat bed trailer.

Carpet 2) 4"x4"x10' boards

Use some angle iron and secure the carpeted boards to the floor of the flatbed.

Remove the running gear off of the boat.

Back the boat in the lake then quickly walk it over and slide her on the flat bed. Use a good ratchet strap on bow eye to flat bed. Pull her out. Use some more ratchet straps on the transom and haul her away.

No need to OCD on the water that would come in during the 2 min trailer swap. I'd cap the shaft log but the other small holes would be open.

Drive that baby back to Texas and use it as a way to make future money off of its coolness. I'm sure it is narrow enough to fit between trailer wheel wells and side rails. A truck can fit on a flatbed and the early 80' mc were narrower that a truck.
