HI,
I am new to the talk. I sold my Malibu 2012 VTX and bought my dream Ski Boat.
It is my first UFP trailer connection and I have had to change the lights to suit Aussie standards.
All is good and everything works but I have 4 wheel disc brakes and I am pretty confident the Blue wire is connected to the actuator on the hitch.
Can I disconnect this and run a 6th wire for reverse lights from my tow, so it can back up a hill?
It's winter here and I have not yet got it in the water but I can't wait.....

Yes, the blue wire energizes the solenoid/actuator to allow the fluid to redirect back to the master cylinder to prevent fluid pressure to the brakes.

So then the blue wire should energize in Reverse, powering the solenoid and the reverse lights, correct?
