Anyone else get orange spots on their boat due to some lotions or combo of lotions?? Have used spray on and rub on and there is no rhyme or reason to when they show up. Have used both for 4-5 trips out and nothing. Go out today and front of boat is covered in orange on the top of the gunnwall. Think it has something to do with the wife's body lotion, but that's been in the mix before too. "Mystery Gremlen"!!!

What's the best way to remove them without damage to the gel coat?

Have you tried the Magic Eraser? That thing seems to remove all kinds of stuff. I use it to remove scuffs in my gel.

@ 02ProstarSammyD - curious why no magic eraser? Def would not use it on the vinyl because of the bleach.

You can use magic erasers sparingly. They take a very fine layer of vinyl off for tough tough stains. It won't damage anything. Just don't use them regularly. I also recommend the Totally Awesome. You can try a small dab of soft scrub first if you don't want to go the magic eraser route. Sun is also your friend here. Leave it uncovered for a day or 2 in direct sunlight.

No matter which method. Magic Eraser , soft scrub follow up with a conditioner/ protectant to put that protective layer back on the vinyl.
