Looks like you hit a home-run on your first boat purchase. Congrats and welcome to Team Talk. One great source for parts is Discount Inboard Marine. http://www.skidim.com/ Give them a shout and ask them to send out a catalog.

Wow, your first boat. Man you sure have good taste. Welcome. Looks like you need to pick up some cleaner, pull out the buffer, and shine that old girl up and get her wet.

Trust me. It will turn into a labor of love. I have an 84 as well and when we purchased "her" she basically change my life. The air smelled fresher, the sun looked a little brighter and my weekends were suddenly better. My self esteem also started to get better, then I realized that all of the people looking at me were not actually interested in me, but instead in my boat. Its still a wonderful thing. Good buy. Have fun. Let me know if you have any questions as I have been over my 84 with a FINE tooth come and know every inch of that boat well.

If you are mechanically inclined, you will have a blast. I have a 85 S&S which I purchased 12 years with ago. It had been setting in a garage for 5 years with a rod sticking out the side of the block. Kids put the boat in the water in spring without checking oil. Dad told the kids that if they wanted to use the boat they could fix it. After 5 years I purchased it and put a Jasper rebuild in it myself. After replacing water pump impeller, carburetor and installing electronic ignition it ran great. The impeller and carburetor I attribute to lack of use. I have since replaced the steering rack and cable some of the hoses, bilge pump and have replaced impeller every 3 years and general maintenance. If you have any questions just ask. Someone will respond!

No matter how many big new boats are on the water my 85 always turns heads!
