I like Trident brand, has blue striping similar to the OEM MC hose.

Any Correct Craft dealer should have it. PCM uses 1" hose for most of their raw water cooling.

White Lake Marine (http://www.nautiqueparts.com/) is a Good one.

Actually you wouldn't need wire reinforced hose anywhere EXCEPT from the raw water intake to the raw water pump. (Suction side) That is the only section with a vacuum. The other hoses are under pressure. and won't collapse. How ever, if you want to use reinforced wire hose, you can get them very reasonably at greatlakesskipper.com. Just google it and it will take you there. I just bought some form those folks.

A lot of us use the Trident hose from fisheries supply. I used the reinforced stuff everywhere just because I like how it doesn't kink up anywhere even with a fairly tight bend.

I do too. I just wanted to make a note that if expense is an issue, it really isn't necessary. I sure don't want to mislead anyone here. This is only my second inboard (Ski Nautique before) and I'm still learning a bunch. This is just something that was relayed to me too.

Canadian Tire, or NAPA should have it.

Where can you find the hose (maybe 2in) that goes from the thermostat to the engine? Can't find it anywhere with my simple google searches.... It's the C shaped one on the right side (looking forward). Any help would be great!

Assuming you mean for the same motor (351W)?

It's a molded hose, application specific: http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=R045048

I like the blue hose, it will nicely match the malibu skier I'm redoing.

the blue stripe does look nice. i just grabbed what they had before they closed,
i had less than 5 minutes to get in and grab the hose and get out before they closed the doors for the weekend.
doh! ended up with orange

just to add to the thread , i'm sure the color coding is standard across the brands.
but here are the specs for blue, orange,or green stripe hoses

hose info below.
