I lost the "r'" from one of my decals and was wondering if anyone knows of a source that could replace the 'r' or entire decal or fabricate one? I have already contacted Jim at BAWS and he was not able to help me. Note: The TT decals are larger than the standard decals of that era MC.

are they raised up a bit - feel like a gel?

Those are called domed decals. many shops can make those. The font is hemi head 426 - A new one may not match well - getting one letter may be almost the sames as getting a full set. Lot's of places on net to get domed decals.

The font is hemi head 426

That is not accurate for the full character set. In "MasterCraft", the "C", "f", & "t" are different (at minimum).

The base font is Hemi Head 426 - From there any shop can make change the outlines or use the art from here.

All the art for many MC logos and some other stuff there.

Try searching domed decals - it will be tough to get 1 letter... might as well get the full set.

Starman today is your lucky day! For the longest time my boat was "MerCat" on one side and I had to jump through many hoops to track down the actual company that produced the decals for my boat.

Contact Cassandra Bakeberg at Universal Products and she will hook you up.

Warning: For my boat she said they could only produce a full pair for $385 or more pairs for slightly discounted prices. Depends on how much you want that factory look, like I did.

That's why I haven't pulled the trigger

Yeah the prices are ridiculous, I must agree. I guess it all depends on how much the factory look matters to you. Personally, I wasn't about to degrade the classic looks of a 205V with some knock-off decals.

brad & gsxrjtt, would you be willing to split the cost of decals as we each just need a few letters? Just PM'd both of you.

Could this be an alternative given that you deliver the ready graphics?

just emailed you and is that 385 per "Mastercraft" X2 or 385 for both sides

It was $385 for the pair. They wanted something just shy of that for a single one so it was smartest to just get 2 for a little more. With these damn geldrip decals you just never know.

after looking at both sides of mine i need more than just 2-3 letters.. i might as well spend the 400 and get both sides

hey osk.. also looks like your replacements are all chrome in the middle and not have the speckled insides like the OEM stickers, are these a perfect match to OEM or just very close

Are you sure you can't just buy a new decal from the factory? I had the 05 TT decal put on my '09 X14 in '09. Then got a replacement a year or 2 later when I lost an "M".

JohnE.....Not to my knowledge. It might have been due to the age of my boat. I think it's more or less an excuse to get more money, and it worked. Perhaps a boat that is <5 yrs old you could get whatever single letters you need seperately.

gsxr....Yup, they are an exact match with the speckled edges. I will take closer pics when I got home today. I NEVER thought I would find out who made the real deal but persistence paid off. Had to bother alot of people haha

She answered but says I have to get the part numbers from Mastercraft and have permission from Mastercraft.

I am tying to email my dealer and I can't get email through to them to confirm part numbers.

Did you have to do the same routine and maybe have a mastercraft contact for permission?
