I need to transport my MC from one marina to another marina on different lakes. My friend has a Malibu 23LSV trailer. Has anyone tried using a Malibu trailer to tow their MC?

I have seen people do it short distances but I cringe when I see air space between bunk boards knowing the hull is barely being supported.
I suppose a MC can handle it, right???

Cameron re-did his boat trailer and used another trailer that was completely wrong! But he made it work temporarily. I think it depends on the distance you want to take it and how well it "fits"....

i'd have to imagine that one of the dealers in texas has a trailer they could let you borrow, or an x15 owner has a trailer that you could borrow...

Willyt, I thought so too, so I tried the MasterCraft dealer in Houston, but they were not very helpful at all. They wouldn't let me use or rent one of their trailers. They even had used X15s in stock, but no love. What goes around comes around.
I ended up using my friends Malibu trailer and it fit the MasterCraft 215 (x15) perfectly. The bunks lined up on the bottom, and the cutout was big enough to accommodate the prop even though the trailer was 12-15" too long.

Good success - many marinas have storage racks - if so they have big fork lifts to load the racks. If so they can always load a trailer and you can watch for fit. Very helpful.
