Hey guys,

I ordered 5 new Maxxis trailer tires, about a week and a half ago. Unfortunately they were delayed and are not arriving prior to my trip up north. Now I have 4 good tires on the trailer but my spare is no good to an incident late last year.

I am traveling 2.5 hours to go up to Sage Lake this weekend and on the off chance I blow out a tire I am going to need a spare. It is hard to put up the money to buy a tire I may not even use, especially when I have 5 new ones in the mail.

With that said, anyone in the Metro-Detroit Area have a a 14" 5 lug spare with tire I can use over the holiday weekend? It would be for my 2004 Xstar trailer.

Any help appreciated. I leave tomorrow at 5. If i absolutely have to I will go buy a tire but thought i would check with the community first.

Also, can I run something cheaper than a Marathon if its the same size as the Marathons on my trailer?

Thanks, Mike

Anyone know if a 1994 Trailer has the same bold pattern as my 2004 5 lug?

If the Rim size and lug count is the same chances are it will work.

Down here, places like Northern Tool and Tractor Supply have trailer tires already on the rim starting around $100

Virtually any 14" trailer wheel will fit your trailer. Trailer wheels have a zero offset and any modern 14" trailer wheel has a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern.

This. Use them to move your boat lift.

Thanks, MikeGet 5 spares.. :D

You could have mine if you were coming my way. Any 14" tire and wheel will work for a spare in times of need....

5 x 4.5 pattern

I don't know where Sage Lake is, but if you get to the Boyne City area and have problems I will be glad to help.

Grab one at tsc and return it after you didn't need it. It would after all be unused.

I live 2 miles from Sage Lake on Rifle Lake. If you make it up here or at least Bay City I can help you.

Everyone thanks for all the help. My old man ended up going and buying a tire for my spare. Said it couldn't hurt to have an extra tire around in the future and he owes me for the all the boat rides.

Should of ordered from that'smastercraft...

I had to use American Express. He wasn't sure if he took it or not. In the end I was only 10 bucks off in total price shipped. Just had to wait longer... Next time tho when money isn't so tight! More info to follow after the weekend! Lol
