I have reluctantly came to the conclusion to offer for sale my 77 Stars and Stripes project boat.:( The boat is currently in the middle of a floor, stringer, transom rebuild. Between work and family obligations, I have not had the time to work on the boat and it will most likely be late summer/early fall before I can begin working on the project again. At the moment the boat is down to the hull. Floor, transom, stringers, bow foam are cut out. Probably 90-95% of the materials to complete the stringer project have been purchased: Marine ply for transom and bulkheads, 2x Douglas Fir for stringers, 15 gallons poly resin, and many, many yards of 1708 biaxial mat and CSM. You will need to purchase decking, carpet and interior. Engine will need a starter and close inspection as one freeze plug has popped out. Boat will need a 4-5 inch through hull split patched and regelled near transom. I would rather try and sell the boat as a rebuild rather than parting out. It could be brought back to life if someone has the time to devote to the project. Boat is located in Donalsonville, Georiga, about 45 minutes from Dothan, Alabama, an hour from Tallahassee, Florida or 2.5 hours from Columbus, Georgia. I am asking 2,200 for the boat and materials, but I will consider offers from those seriously interested (please no lowballs). PM me your email or telephone number and I will contact you.
