JAll, I'm trying to find a way to get at least 20% discount of other vendors/ebay prices right now. If I can get more discount, I'll keep you updated.

27W lights (I think I can easily negotiate 20% discount since they are kinda expensive so they are willing to work the prices -- Keep you updated)

9W lights (still fighting to get better price)

I've sent them the email that I won't pay more than $205-$210 for 27W (Now the ball is in their court)

I already update the older lumens post

it's per piece.. I wish it was per SET.. 27W led is being sold on ebay for $275-$300 per piece. If our total pc order comes around 20pc then the price would go to $210.

I was wondering that too. The price is crazy low if they have like a 6 or 8 foot beam underwater. If they do I'd probably throw down on a pair.

Keep in mind, the price is crazy low because we (us) are getting directly from the supplier NOT the middle man or distributor.

I've sent them an email to provide me more info.

Also, I wasn't planning to ask anyone to pay me in advance full price either. But little bit for sure, So I don't end up with so my underwater light and my boat becomes light house HAHA

Kyle, First BL lights are 6W. Also, I can publish their supplier doc here but I won't do that since it's against my RULE since I don't sell Underwater light. I only looked into this after I saw really high prices and thought why not all of us can find little cheaper.

A little late here

I was guessing off of my lights turned on that they were 180*. If you have found that they are 165* then that's what they are. They just spread out nice vs more of a straight beam.

Curious what 6w vs 9w difference is. If a 9w has 3 led and a 6w has 6 led then who is brighter.
Our Texas mud hole lakes I'm sure effect all underwater lights and I bought mine years ago when they first came out. All I know is 6leds they are blue and are cool. That's it lol.

How much are you selling the lights for. 9 and 27.

I think 6W light (6 chips) got same light as 9W (3 chips) since they are asking same price. NOT even penny difference. (may be few lumens different in BLUE and the main difference in W/G/R)

9W for $75 shipped
27W $220-$225 shipped.

They ship it to me and I'll ship it to everyone.

Hey guys! This was brought to my attention by another buyer and wanted to check with the other buyers on here who have installed these lights already. As you can see by these pictures there are three stand-offs at each screw hole that will not allow the entire plate to seat tight against the boat. Is this like this to allow water around the back? Are we just supposed to seal the four holes against water leakage?

Thanks for your feedback guys!!

The downside to this design is it creates an area for water to travel behind it. In the rear of the boat prob not an issue. On the sides I would not install them.

I'm thinking of grinding down and making the center large enough to recess the wires and 5200 the bajesus out of it.

But I don't want to go redesigning the things until I hear from others first

I'm expecting spaceship pix with white flying lights..lol

I'll try and take some good ones. I cleaned the heck out of the boat over the weekend in anticipation of it going into the shop this week so we can take some pics. And this Saturday we have some night surfing planned.

Can you post up the lumens for all the colors for the 9W lights. I have seen it posted for the 27W but not the 9W.

Thanks

The Chase bank mobile app does. Sadly just not with cash.

Awesome! I'm particularly curious about the sealant. I've read 3M 5200 on some sites, and have read 3M 4000/4200 on others. The latter is stated to bond better with alloy & fiberglass?

I thought those tabs were to let water cool the units. Now people are sealing them off. What is the purpose of these tabs now?

Hey now. You share with one you share with all. I need a new mirror. Mines literally from 1995 and on my windshield support. I've wanted a tower mirror for a while but never pulled the trigger due to high cost.

Here's what I was told. You can go either route. If you dont seal then your light is staying cool from both ends.

Sealing from back won't hurt either.

That's my point too. I don't want to deal with crap building up. Especially since my boat stays in the water for the most part.

I guess we will find out won't we. Mine are in and only sealed at the screw holes and wire holes.

Went out last night for my first ever night surf sesh.

2 things, First, I need a better camera. Second, we had a better camera and it is now at the bottom of the river with all data lost.

So the photos are all thats left from the sesh and taken from cell phone. We will take better ones next time.
