Where do you think the data comes from ? I am sure if needed it can be scrubbed.

true, but now it's released to the public.

you think Timothy McVeigh and people like him, with destruction on their minds could have used this?

I realize we are not privy to the very high resolution data that's out there... I mean, I've heard of satellite shots that can show golf balls.

with this technology, you'd think it wouldn't take so long to find Bin Laden & Hussain:mad:

From a targeting and guidance perspective GPS is more of a risk IMO.

again, that's true
but anybody with access to the internet with destruction on their minds can do their homework in their dark dingy basement. They can research the sites they intend to destroy, log the coordinates and the use the GPS for their guidance.

It just seems like thy're opening a new bigger can of worms....ICBW:(
