View Full Version : Pulling Motor 2003 X-30 LQ-9

Help please. In order to facilitate a repair of the hull after hitting a rock I am pulling motor. I have the LQ-9 with liquid cooling in a 2003 X-30.

Any instruction's will be appreciated for instance order of items to disconnect and tips. I have use of forklift and some qualified help.

only advice i can give is when you are putting it all back together and you get around to installing the rear bench seat back. don't do it alone and then let one end slip into the vinyl side panels. the threaded rods will tear the vinyl on the side. ask me how i know.

in all seriousness. tons of pics/notes/diagrams. i'd drain all fluids first.

label everything. wire connections, hoses, mounts...ect. And take plenty of pictures along the way. It definitely helps for reassembling.
