I like it, adds just a little touch most people won't notice but the ones who do notice will appreciate

It looks good, but I think it looks better without.:twocents:

It matches my horn cover.

And my transom cap.

95035

But I think the bow looks a little clunky.

I never said anything about selling it. Just wanted to know what it was worth to analyze my options.

I like the horn cover, do they still make it?

I just got a bilge cover too, but I think it may be for the x-series, as it does not match the prostar designs.

I agree. Kind of Interrupts that bada$$ fighter jet line. Those other treatments look terrific though!

I don't know if they still have a horn cover. Email or call MCbyDesign. I got this a few years back and they had it in stock, but it was not on the website.

Sodar, I think it's a nice part but I think it would look better without it. My 2 cents

Respectfully, leave the bow as is, but heck it is your boat, do what you want!

I think it breaks up the smooth line of the bow. It doesnt flow.

What purpose does it serve? Just cosmetic? If you install it and don't like it then you got holes to deal with, right?

The concern I would have it that is sticks out and could be a leverage point for the bow to get hung up on. My vote would be without.

Just cosmetic. To install, you have to cut the rub rail back about 2" on each side and then install the cap. It is a "no turning around" modification.

You can kind of see the recesses in the cap for the rub rail in this pic...

Certainly an interesting piece, but I think it interrupts the simplicity and clean lines of your boat. I would pass.

That's the part that makes it a no install for me. If you could take it off if you didn't like and not have to buy 30' of rub rail + chrome inset I might do it.

Personally, I like it as is.

Add another to the "I would pass" band wagon.
