Hi Everyone, I recently purchased my first MC Prostar 209-2001 from a guy in Nashville. I now have the boat in Colorado. Does anyone have any recommendations for the proper pitch for this altitude? The boat currently has a 4 blade 12-13.

The two most popular props on these boats are OJ and ACME. I suggest contacting each with your information (boat make/model, engine, transmission (gear ratio), what and how you use the boat (wakeboarding with x-lbs of ballast, skiing, etc) and your altitude). They will be able to recommend the correct prop(s) for your usage.

I have an OJ. There service has been great. I have not tried ACME.

For a 1:1 transmission I would suggest a 13 X 11 LC 1" XMP 3-blade.

I highly recommend the Acme 1581 3 blade. I have been very unhappy with the hole shot on my 2004, to the point of wanting to retrofit a power slot. I talked to the guys at Acme after a recommendation from Midwest Matercraft. This prop is EXACTLY what was needed. The hole shot is unbelievable. Even seemed to lessen the '22 off wake. I have noticed better fuel economy as well.
