Just curious. Does anyone have a deck color other than white? And would you like to show us a pic. I have been considering something other than white for the new boat in the spring but not sure. Most boats seem to be white. How about bottom colors for that matter, many people with colored bottoms? And I don't mean your tush. hehee

I take it this is nothing anyone cares to even comment on?

My boat has a white deck, but when I first started looking, a dealer had an 04 PS209 with a dark blue deck. It looked really nice, but I wonder how hot it would get in the sun.

One thing to keep in mind is the deck gets the direct sun and will fade quicker.
My old 82 has a yellow deck and hull.

You can get a colored deck on every MC model except the xstar, x45, 245, x80, 280 but it does cost extra. You can see the x2 im selling in the "marketplace" that has a black deck...

I went the most conservative engineering way, white with blue strip. However, I think there should be some colors that look good and will 10 years from now and not be so trendy as say a all RED or GREEN boat! I see those now(not MC) and think in 5 years would anyone buy that????? You can make an ugly MC boat with the design a boat concept, but you can make really neat custom boat. That is also why you see the other guys copy this concept, look on Malibu....coming soon!
Call me fuddy-duddy, but white is a great interior base color with accent colors.

Thanks for all the input gentlemen. I think we will be going with Mediteranean Blue for hull #4, then the thin white stripe and next a yellow stripe, (just for attitude) and the white bottom and deck. I think this should stand the test of time for classic color scheme, with a yellow accent strip interior. Classic with attitude. Thanks again everyone.

The boat that I am trying to buy has a dark blue hull. It is a 2000 PS 190.

One word of caution on using a deck color other than white: wherever the gelcoat shows inside the boat (around the seat bases, arount the dash, in the bow walk-thru) all of that gelcoat will be the deck color also, NOT WHITE. Not knowing this could present a serious shock when you get in that new boat for the first time!
