I recently purchased my first inboard, 91 ProStar 190. I took it out for the first time yesterday and it has a vibration at low rpms. Not sure where to start is it a prop , shaft , motor mounts I just don't know. Can anyone offer some advise?

id go for prop and shaft, easiest visual check. I dont think it would be motor mounts.

Check your prop for any imperfections, however slight. Use a feeler gauge if you can get one to check the runout on the shaft. Check the strut bearings. Before digging into the rest, when was the last time you changed your packing material. My brother in law's Supra had some vibration issues and, surprisingly, it was the shaft packing.
