I know there may already be a thread for this but I didn't feel like searching any longer plus I would like some recent info. I was just wondering what options there are out there for wake surf racks on the 08 Zeroflex tower. Pics if you have them. My only complaint with my XStar over my Moomba LSV is the storage space...The Moomba had quite a bit more. If I didn't have the PWT ballast upgrade I would prob have enough but...Therefore I need to figure a way to get my surf up out of the locker!

my surfboards fit into the tower fingers no problem. we've had 8 boards on the boat before, we just stuff the extras under the observers seat.

that's my prob...I have fat sacs under those seats...and when full they will not fit. And we usually have at least 6 people on the boat, 4-6 wakeboards depending on who is with us (everybody has their own board plus one girls board and one community board). So my board racks will be fairly full. Guess I'll figure something out.

My skim board fits in the rack but my WalkProject does not.

I'm having some of these made by Lightning towers in Sacramento. Seems to be the best possible way to store lots of boards

Still waiting to hear...I think around $300-$350. He said he may have to make (5) of them on the initial run to cover costs but it think these things will sell like crazy.

I'll keep you posted as the process continues.

Romerorrr.....I like that idea...I think I can actually machine something along those lines. A good friend of mine is actually really good at metal work plus has a bunch of metal lathes and milli machines at his shop that we can use.

Ttu...I have thought of the Z5 but I don't like how it cuts the head clearance. One thing I hated on my Moomba was how low the bimini was. EVERYBODY was always slamming their head into it. The stock bimini on this XStar is plenty high enough to satisfy me. Although the cover for it looks like it may present a problem in building something like the above mentioned project.

have you seen the finished product? Do they still have some if they had to make 5? we are looking for the same type for our wake surf boards. How much were they?

I have one of these (http://www.wakeboards.com/Monster-Tower-Wakeboard-and-Surfboard-Rack-p/monster_tower_surf_wake_rack.htm) which I mounted top port side. The rack itself has a quick release and the bracket stays on the tower and therefore can be covered and towed without problems. It only holds 2 extra boards and only 1 is a thick slot, but it fit our needs.
