Nice Maristar. Is that a 200 or 225. I have a 95 200VRS. Love your boat!.

Ok anyways, one of my favorite upgrades, besides my new interior, is the remote on the rear transom for the radio. I know its trivial but it is nice to be able to change the song, raise and lower the music from the back of the boat. I noticed my boat is a lot cleaner after a day at the sandbar.

thank you. its a 225. and yes i have the transom remote. its nice to control the radio swimming off the back. Im just running out of ideas to make it more fun. I thought about a 12 volt refer for drinks but my luck id kill the battery runnign it all night long.

One of my next upgrades is Perfect Pass, if you don't have it. And a GArmin GPS 596S since it covers depth finder, shallow alarms, and XM radar weather it will be a neat function for the boat.

Of course there is the LED speaker rings and underwater lights and custom plumbed ballast system if you want also.

I also saw a thread recently about Rino lining the rear lockers. I might consider that as well. That area gets all mildew smelling and I don't like it. I'm waiting to see how his turns out.

traxx to get the tube off the platform. tie a loop in the rope about a foot from your tube and hook it in off the back. it will ride nice there up the lake.

i cant seem to spend the money on PP but ive been thinking about it. I dont want bags, I think the wake is big enough for me, anyway I have subs to the side of the engine as well as an extra battery. I always open my rear cover when im not using the boat, so it dont stay wet but i like the idea or ryno lining.

Haha. I do that. However this was an end of season shot. My sunpad had two giant rips down the seam of the color stripe. Since they were embarrassing, the tube covered it. It's also why I just had my interior redone.

I put my sub in the walk through. Cut a hole right in the port side. I have dual battery as well. One in each locker. If you go a page back you can see it. I also hogged out all the holes and stuffed 7.7" speakers in. With components. Came out real nice.

Did u see the interior thread I posted? I'm so excited to hear peoples reaction to it.

I found alot of your pictures. Thats a good looking boat. Does that water ever get warm. I was in chicago a few years ago and that water looked soooo cold to me.

Thanks I love my maristar. Surfs great, wake is good for boarding, ski wake is meh but its way cheaper than a new one. And we own them if you know what i'm saying vs a new one.

Chicago water, Oh yeah. Like bath water in june and july. Right now it is cold though. a cool 46degrees.

Remove the tower :D

On a serious note, you could dress up the trailer a little:

F2 Fulton trailer jack

Guide post covers

LED trailer lights

And as simple as it seems, these center hubs dressed up my cheap trailer wheels very well - several people at the lake asked me if I bought new wheels:

For the boat, modern day bubble style lettering, and I agree on perfectpass - best watersports invention ever..

What would the trailer jack get me?
I want to get MC guide post covers, that would be awesome.
I was going to do LEDS when my current bulbs burn out.
Does your hubs cover up the outside of the hub/bearing buddies?

The wheel hubs are open on the ends, to not block access to bearings. I bought a close ended for the spare... $22 @ discount tire. I highly recomment to take your spare with u to DT to check for proper diameter... I do not remember which diameter I bought.

For the guide posts, bought from MC By Design, $30 bucks + shipping. I also bought the end caps for the top @ my local dealer

Here you can see the guide posts + the LEDs (on the refurbished fenders):

http://s22.postimg.org/uddy8xzs1/fenders02.jpg

For F2, I was sick of having a trailer jack that was wobbly and weak and ugly. I had a trailer jack give way on me once and it broke all my toes. So I ordered the jack with a weld on plate, and used a local welder to install it (sawed off old MC bracket) ($40 cash deal)

Then I painted it after it was cooled off.

For the wake boats I've been on, short of ballast, my favorites have been fresh air exhaust, and an amp with microphone to input. Using a cb style mic to provide coaching is a great tool. Fresh air exhaust makes it very easy to hear out there. Also makes standing on the transom and surfing much nicer.

Get some dip molded registration number that color match.

Replace any plastic coverings, vents or latches with chrome parts.

Update your mirror with the PTM Edge and a tower mirror arm

Led lights are always a bling bling

Using the faux teak if your transom, if it fiberglass would look classy

Thats a few quick ideas

I didn't realize how much I liked it on a wake boat til the neighbor got it. On mmy Stars and Stripes I'd never get rid of my rumble. But if there are going to be tower speakers I should be able to hear my music clearly as I'm rounding the 6 ball.

I have a very similar boat. '96 225 with ND tower. I'm having the carpet and entire interior done now at Viper. I'll add pic when the are done. I have a couple, but the are not installed yet, so I'll wait to post.

For more awesomeness, try a new swim platform pad. I really like my Sea Dek replacement. I also have a custom Bimini from ND that we really like.

Me too. Look at the photos on that site. There's a moomba one that's cool. Obviously mine would have to say MasterCraft. Kinda new age looking and would match perfect.

How much was yours carish?

FRESH AIR EXHAUST VIDEO X-30

I just installed fresh air exhaust on my X-30. Must say its an overly impressive tool to reduce motor noise by 50%-75%. The reason why I installed it was for the little ones exposure to CO2, but the reduction in motor noise is absolutely awesome.

Here's a picture of it installed

93343

Here's a video that I shot last weekend...besides the occasional breeze, you can barely hear the motor

What engines do you guys have that you'd like quieter? Do you have cat exhausts? I'd love our X-15 to have a bit of exhaust noise - just a bit. I seem to hear engine noise and some intake noise, but no real exhaust noise.

Other things that don't duplicate what's already been said:
- CNC prop
- AirTrakker video camera mount
- Spare tire for your trailer
- extra USB and 12v plugs all around the interior for stuff
- replace old engine box insulation to make it quieter and cool looking
- hard wire new trailer plug that goes direct to your tow car w/o adapter
- replacement boat LED instrument lights and running lights
- 12v heated blankets for windy days / cold passengers
- box anchor and anchor buddy
- refresh trailer bunk carpet

... and 2nd the items: Fresh Air Exhaust, Perfect Pass ...

I've got a 94 Maristar 225 - love your MC!

THanks man

Im working on leds now. My only issue with that is I dont run after dark very much.
extra 12 volt plugs sounds like a good idea. Right now I dont see where/how I would use them. My GF made me buy a 12v blanket, the big sissy :)
