I just got my bimini top for my PS 190 delivered. The instructions seem pretty simple. I have the skylon pylon so it has the whole in the top for the pylon. Has anyone on here installed one that might have some tips. I know one of our members did a great write up on one but I can't find the thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where did you get the bimini from?

This is on my to-do list soon...need one that has the cut out for the FlyHigh pole.

Here are some pics after the install. The pics were taken before the final adjustments.

I got the top from Bart's. I know there area some members that have been considering getting a similar top. It was easy to put together and install. The installation hardware was plastic which I didn't care too much for. I figure if they begin to fail I will purchase some stainless steel brackets.

I believe it is on backwards

I believe it is on backwards

Referring to the support poles, correct?

Fabric is done right though...

Actually it's on correct, it has a hole for the skylon pylon. I just hadn't adjusted when I took the picture. The bars are designed to be put on backwards so the zippered hole can accommodate the pylon.

I'm not sure why the manufacturer has you place the A bow towards the bow as opposed to the the stern. I thought all you did was install the top regularly but after reading the instructions it advised that you needed to have the A bow towards the bow. Go figure, here's another Bimini top with a skylon set up the same way.

Makes me wonder if it would've worked the other way around.

It could be correct, it just looked backwards from what I have usually seen. That will be a nice upgrade.

TN,

What color canvas did you go with?

We were debating on colors for ours...can't decide between the ocan blue to match the boat or the white or the gray.

I went with grey to match the interior.
