#1 cylinder is the forward-most one on the starboard side?

Wes, I beleive that i have this info at home, my PCM owners manual covers all of the motors available in 85. I can post that tonight if someone doesn't post it in the mean-time.

Timing specs:
Idle 600 rpm
Point Dwell 30 degrees
Timing 10 degrees at 1000 rpm
My boat (Chevy 454)#1 is the first cylinder (most forward) on the left side facing forward :confused: ...port side
