I wonder if an eraser pad would work without damaging the decal.

Try vinegar and water yet? Next magic eraser. Then light rubbing compound.

I'm not sure I would go the magic eraser route.

I would be very careful about the magic eraser....I would try waxing it first and then a product called Flitz. I used Flitz on my Xseries badges and they look brand new. Rub in an area less seen first

I've tried polishing compound, babes boat bright and rubbing alcohol. I will try some vinager and if that does not do it I will get some Flitz.
Thanks Fellas.

Your going to have to use an orbital and a foam pad so it will get warm

the film looks like its either hard water deposits, or oxidation. Hard water will come off with vinegar and a bit of rubbing; oxidation has to be polished off. I can help with polishing gel-coat, but I have no idea how to handle something as soft as vinyl.
