Hi all! Just purchased my first Mastercraft! Traded in the old Moomba for it and gotta admit, even though I haven't even ran it yet, I'm already fully pleased with my decision!! the quality, fit and finish of this boat is amazing! She's fully loaded including Wetsounds Pro 80's and a 420 equalizer w/mic, Bass Boost sound control box, PP, heated driver seat, pull out heat vents, underwater lights, 400 hp Vortec, PWT ballast upgrade PLUS extra integrated ballast bags for up to 3300# of ballast total, transom remote, bimini, rotating racks and more!! Love this boat!

its best practice to turn those board racks in when you tow.

also, the shot looking into your rear view mirror looks like your about to hit a tree. hope that turned out alright for you.

Speaking of MCOCD, (insert gasp here) is that a foot with a shoe on it in the interior pic?!

Why was Kyle in his new boat with shoes on? :D

It would drive me crazy to buy a boat and drag it home with snow on the ground. I would need more than a MCOCD pill.

Well East Coast to me is VA. But I'm actually in Southwest VA. Radford, VA is my home and Claytor Lake is my home lake. I also hit up Smith Mountain Lake a lot too.

you know as long as you have the bill of sale, and its within 30 days you dont need a registration?

i've been using that excuse for 2 years now.

make sure you have a spare on that trailer, when we looked at it, it didnt. those marathons will go this year.

also, did you get the gel fixed under the boat?

When I got mine from M!ch!gan, I put it on the water that day. Didn't change the registration until the off season. I was pulled over twice that season (obviously for the out of state numbers). Once they saw my excitement all was good. Don't let that stop you.

Congrats on the new boat, that yellow is sweet.

Willyt....Yeah I'm gonna get a spare ordered plus I'm putting new rubber on her, some 10 ply cooper trailer tires. I had them on my previous trailer and they held up so far for 4 years and still show no dry rot or wear.

And WHAT??!!! I looked all around that boat and didn't see any gel coat probs!! Where was it at?! I'll be looking again as soon as I get home!! You got me nervous now! I must have overlooked it!

good deal on the tires - i had 2 blow on my xstar trailer this summer (mine's an 07).

It's under the boat near the bow on the starboard side... they may have already had that repaired as they indicated they would be repairing it in-house. Nothing to worry about, and if you don't find anything and cant tell where it was repaired they did a good job.

Yeah you had me all spooked so I called a buddy and had him stop by the house and look and he said he couldn't find anything...so hopefully they took care of it!

PS...If ANYBODY knows of a place or a wesite where I can get a matching spare...PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I've been searching and can't find the 5 lug/5 dual spoke wheel anywhere. I can find the same wheel in a 6 lug/6 spoke (which is prob their single axle version) but not the 5. If I can't find one then I guess in time I'll just have to buy 5 new aftermarket wheels and tires to go on it! Maybe some to match the ones I'll be putting on the new truck I'm about to buy!

An easier solution would be to just buy a general 14in 5 lug spare and put a spare tire cover on it, which is what I've done. Keeps your spare out of the sun

You can always go with the cheap wheel as a spare and get a Mastercraft wheel & tire cover.

Congrats on the purchase that thing is fantastic.
