From one Buckeye to another, what you should do is sell that boat AND trailer to me (at a very resonable price) and buy your self a NEW boat with a tandem axle trailer.

Problem solved!

BTW, I have not seen you up Fishin Creek in a while?

I wish I could find a 205V like that. They are so much better looking that the X-Star/X-2/X-1 205V's. Too bad they are so much rarer.

Hey Footin'...that's what CincyMC said too! lol...But no plans to sell the boat anytime soon.

We've been spending most our time at the river and Norris. Trailering to Norris is why we're switching to a tandem.

Anyway...if you know anyone in need of the trailer, send them my way!

Thanks,
Paul

Do you know how the 205 dimensions compare to a 209? I considering a trailer, yours looks like the nicest option out there and is relatively close.

Here are some pix of the LED lights and tires. You can tell by the lettering on the tires that they a very little use on them.90359

I asked...and it wouldn't be recommended because it wouldn't be the proper fit.

I cant afford a new trailer right now but I would love to put my 94 - 205 on that trailer and avoid all the damaged props. I wonder what changes would be required...

Hey Double...you might want to clean out your PM box. It won't accept any more messages.

Some good information from NSXBill about 205 model year changes in case you're wondering about trailer/hull fit.

I've gotten some inquiries about bunk placement on the trailer so I took some quick photos.

There are 2 main bunks and a bow pad (+ BoatBuddy). The main bunks are ~12ft-2in long. They are ~20in from centerline of boat at the stern and ~13in from centerline where the bunks end. Pictures are below.

Thanks,
Paul

Cincy, glad you sold it. I lost interest once I found out the axle was in the wrong place for a Direct Drive. It would have worked, but if I am going to switch, I would have wanted it to be perfect.

I am kicking myself right now for not being more active on these boards. I would have snagged that thing the day it was posted. I have always loved that boat seeing it here and on W/W.

Yeah...it kinda simmered for a couple weeks and then one day it went to full boil and sold.

I'll post pics of the new trailer when it comes in. I think it's supposed to finish up this week and then ship out. I'm ready to get my boat off blocks and back onto a trailer.

BoatMate. It will look similar to this one...

Boatmate makes some nice trailers. Those newer ones with the backlit lettering on the fenders are awesome.

Yep...but they can only offer it if authorized to use the font.

From an appearance standpoint, my new trailer is ALMOST bone stock. I didn't think a blinged-out trailer would go well with the classic appearance of the boat.
