MC should talk to these guys to do a little publicity stunt. Monster board, X-Star, a 15 second clip on every local news station in the country...That start ought to test the strength of a ZeroFlex.

I saw this again on FusionTV and remembered I never answered Rick DV's question. The 47 rider record was broken with an even 50 riders at the Huntington Beach US Open

Details here (http://www.beachcalifornia.com/california-monster-surfboard.html)!

yeah, that would be cool to see how many riders could go behind an X-STAR, it there ever is anything like that, SIGN ME UP!

There's a chance the board is still in the US (but probably on a ship back to OZ). If it's here I know there are a couple promo boats around here. You could at least do it with two X Stars and the board in the middle of the converging wakes.

that would make a wake, at wakeboard camp, i remember on the river i was riding on, there was a house boat coming down it, it was on a plane going like 15, it had a wake at leaste two times bigger than the X-STAR. So maybe they need 2 of those. Oh yeah, we want to promote MC here.

That's cool.. I'd hate to have to paddle out on that thing though :o

Now a giant wakeboard, that would be really cool. MC should latch onto that one!

I can't imagine! That is so big!

They "paddled" it with a lifeguard Honda Aqutrax pushing then let it ride in. When they first did it in Austrailia the had attached an outboard motor. Maybe some day I'll have enough extra cash laying around to build that giant wakeboard and ship it around the world. That sucker cost $35,000 to build! Hmmm 50 riders...100 wakeboard bindings or just squeeze a bunch of people into two big ones Old Mother Hubbord style.

You mean like this?

WOW!!! That is crazy!

I bet that washed out some shoreline!

Other than that, cool photo. What mountain is that in the background?

Exactly like that. Great pic Junky! Space them out a little more to make room for the crazy amount of beam on the surfboard.

Just thought - getting the board lined up on the two wakes would have the tip of the surf board extending farther forward than those super-fly bows. Mmmm might be more complicated than I thought. The area circled would probably cause the board to stall out.

Great picture. Would like to see that in person.

Ryan, what web site did you find those?

You can find it on a lot of sites. This one (http://www.beachcalifornia.com/california-monster-surfboard.html) was the most concise.
