I got wake2wake (just barely) last year. Kind of crazy for me at my age but I want to do one invert. I don't actually have to land it well. Just walk away without injury. Riding away would be really cool. It is all I wish for this season. ;) I wish it was just as easy as going out and buying it! I plan on some lessons this summer.

1. Finish my 1 piece sundeck to 3 piece conversion (deck is at Viper Customs right now being re-upholstered).
2. Install my new tower speakers, Kicker KM6500.2s, with the horn tweeters going in my existing cans, and two new cans for the mid-bass pair.
3. I could use some guide pole covers, so might as well add that to the list! ;)
4. Toe-side w2w and switch heelside w2w. I just need to swallow my pride and pull the rope back in to 65’ or 70’! It gets old to keep jumping heelside, crossing toeside, jumping, crossing, etc. Need to be able to jump both sides!

Pick out and install LED lighting- underwater, ski locker, seat bases and up in the bow. (88 PS 190)
Have rear seat cushion reupholstered, maybe redesign/rebuild entire rear seat bench to create storage underneath.
Build secure ski storage in bow so skis don't bounce/slide around and create more storage room for PFDs, spare parts, tools and other necessities.
Choose, install new head unit so we have music again.

Try to find used barefoot boom, teach my boys (6 and 4) to ski.
Spend lots of time on the water with family and friends. :)

Which lake? I was on Perry last year and it wasn't bad. That was in June though, so I'm sure it went down since then.

I live close to ElDorado lake, but spend more time at Marion lake because the camping sites are so much better. Both lakes are in extreme condition. We didn't even try Marion last year because of how low it is, and ElDorado isn't any better but it is deeper IN SPOTS. You just have to know where you can and can't go.

A working Piggy Back Ballast and a working Zero Off in my 2012 X-15, also working firmwares for GDIG and BIG in general!
Personally, an invert or a 360, my girl surfing, a 360 and some air...enough water in the river for the whole season!

Most important of all: no injuries and not too much damage!

Use the hell out of it! We just bought our 197TT in September (first boat ever) and had a short season. I realized i needed to put another $1,000 and about 80 hours (thank you Team Talk) into it over winter--2nd batt + wiring/isolator, refinish teak, wet sand/polish/buff/wax, spare prop, repair the propped I lunched (bonehead!), air spring helpers on minivan (i know, NOT cool) plus toys (skis, wakeboard, kneeboard, ropes, vests) and accessories (bumpers, anchors, rope, oar). Now I am DONE and hope I can keep it that way until the end of the season--the goal is to just enjoy with the wife, kids and friends.

I was told I need to buy a pontoon. Wife's orders. We are putting the down payment on one today over the phone, and picking it up in April. Box checked and glad I was able to convince her on a pre-owned one. Saved a ton of cash.

Now I have to add onto my dock. A new list starts

Willy,

Well at least all the people that visit our lake home can stay the heck out of my MasterCraft now. You would not beleive the dirty looks I get when they start to board and I say, um.. no food, no drinks, no shoes, and no fishing poles. Thank you, welcome aboard.

ain't nothing wrong with a poon toon. A friends lake house has one. We take both boats out and just let people drink, eat lunch, and swim around the toon while we board. When she wants to take it out for a spin I start to laugh though. Things drive like your on ice

What's going on with your ballast control? My KGB stopped working.

Me, just need new guide pads. I may swap out the trailer buddy for a guide,

What's going on with your ballast control? My KGB stopped working.,

It's 'the usual' 2012 model year BIG and GDIG issues that hopefully will be fixed by the recent software update that others have talked about in different threads. The specific issue for me is that I have no reliable indication of what the ballast tank level is. I.e. it can read a zero level on the gauge, but if i open the hatch and look at the KGB, it may still be 60% full. Plus once the gauge reads zero, the pump turns off so I can't continue to empty it easily. Big problem for skiing, but not so much for boarding.

I have new interior going in right now, Perfect pass installed next. Both my props refinished (OJ owes me some money and an explanation for telling me they were ruined), Finished wiring cup lights, LED's in cup holders and last a snap on cover that matches my Bimini. (stays in a slip outside 24/7)

Still to do:
Garmin GPS/depthfinder w/ radar
Underwater lights
Fresh air exhaust
start engine clean up (shine up)
plumb the ballast

My wish list came true today-thank god!! I can waterski with bilateral knee replacements-right one last Sept, left one in November. Air temp 67-water 62. I thought about the mammalian reflex for a second when I hopped off the platform;) I get up on two and had the ski gone by the time I hit the boat bubbles. My balance is much better now, NO PAIN, and my stamina is much better!! I'm 30 pounds lighter this year so I may have to make a few adjustments to my Seige. I'll never be a fantastic skier but for a 56 year old with 2 new knees I'll take it!! I caught my surgeon in the ICU the other night and we discussed it again; he said "just make sure it's glass, not rough out there". I'm not "old" until I can't waterski any more!

Hoping to ski just one last time. With rods, screws and a neuro stimulator in my back. Surgeons have given the okay, only glassy waters , and to start only on the boom. My kids aren't old enough to remember me skiing or footin. May even take one of my Dr's out for a weekend.

If you need a tow - I can you out on the Illinois - don't have a boom - but willing to help.
