View Full Version : Shower attachment

My 94 PS 190 came to me a year ago with a hot water shower. When it was winterized the gentleman said he could not guarantee he got the HW shower pump to fill w/ antifreeze and sugested I remove it. I did remove it and am toying with not putting it back in, but also might do so if I had the attachment. It leaked a little rusty water in the gunnel in the past but it cleaned up. It has a quick release hose but I see nothing anywhere on the unit that notates a model or maker. What are the best shower attachments and what else should I know before I go one direction or the other?

By attachment, do you mean the shower head? Are you sure the pump works? If the pump worked, he should have been able to turn it on until antifreeze came out of the hose. My 96 came to me 2 years ago with a shower, but the pump does not work. I was going to replace it, but the cost of the pump was prohibitive, and in the last 2 years I have not really had a time when I wished I had it.

I think the pump works but w/o the shower head to allow flow he was having trouble. It is a quick connect coupler type at the end of the hose and it came w/ no attachment for length or a shower head.

most likely Heater Craft

I'm not sure if this helps or not, but this is probably the manual.

Here is a good company (Bakes online) that sells the replacement parts at good prices and has a 10% off code. Just enter shower in the search window and the next page has the replacement parts you are after.

Sorry I can't help with your question but I have been considering adding a shower to my 92 PS205 and was wondering where to mount the pump. Can you tell me where yours is mounted and maybe share some pictures. Also the temperature controls. Thanks

Mine is mounted near the front corner of the gas tank just behind the transom carperted cover and the hose leads to the side storage gunnel. The temp. control is under the engine cover, just mounted to the deck, close to the gas shock mount. Thanks for the info and links guys, I think I will reinstall and have it available for use.
