I dont think so, I have about 45k left with them. If I remember right they revamped their program to where you had to get alot more points to get to Platinum status

Not really, only 25-30k on Delta. However I have cashed in for 15 tickets on Northwest over the past two years and have another two waiting. NW is 75k for platinum.

Word around the campfire is monday. I wouldn't think that they would kill the miles program. However, I do know that they have let go several flight attendants for less than severe offences.. (like having a magazine in you lap while sitting in the jump seat during take off)

I've got about 50K, but I doubt I'll lose them.

Aren't Delta, NW and United or American all partners now when it comes to cashing in reward tickets?

Well they filed fellas. Apparently our skymiles are safe as of now.

I guess they actually had sold off Comair a week ago. I flew Comair today and they flight attendant said they aren't apart of Delta any longer! Nuts!!

They are all part of some mileage partnership where you can almost fly anyone and get you miles on another airline. Goofy.

29,000 on Delta. 220,000 on USAirways. They filed for bankruptcy a long time ago and I still have those miles. Wife and I are trying to decide how to use them.

Thinking Australia, South Africa, Europe (first class)... Sizz, give me a pull??? ;)

I have been flying US Airways for 7 years and worried when they went Bankrup....Twice, but the miles are still available for use and I still get all the upgrades associated with a Chairman Preferred level. 100 Segments or Miles.

Jeff,
PM me and I will put you in touch with a travel agent that I have been using to sell my miles over the years.

Yeah, the upgrades are a nice bonus. I made it to Gold level when I was flying between DC and Orlando every week and got upgraded about half the time. They just lowered me to Silver level because I don't do that any more  . And now USAirways stopped flying into Panama City this year

I don't think you can do that except maybe few airlines.

I checked the fine print when USAirways teamed up with United. In that case, they said you can't combine the miles. I could use USAir miles on United and I could use United miles on USAir, but I can't combine miles from both for the same reservation. I suspect other carriers are the same.
