Has anyone taken a MC teak swim step and made it into a table? Thought it would make a cool work table or desk for a den.

Thoughts?

We have 2 in our basement for bar tables.

One is from a 94 PS 190 and the second was ordered with either an Xstar or an X15.

The big platform...I just used big L brackets and the 190 actually has real platform brackets...

you could use regular 2x4's or 4x4's and then wrap with old wood ski's for your legs

A little bent too!

Placed low enough so you will not hit it with your knees or feet when sitting on a bar stools.

Love the attention to detail. It's fantastic! But I think your left speed pickup is clogged. There's a procedure on here somewhere to clean that out. Also, where the hell's the rudder??? :D

Just had a friend post this on FB - not sure if, or how often they frequent here, so I thought I'd post this while this thread was "recent" - very cool though.

Lotta empty bottles. You should try what I do. Toss them and replace with full ones. You'll enjoy life more.

Where can you find a good teak platform without having to go back to MC and pay out the wazoo for it? I would love to make one of the tables to put down on my dock.
