Hey guys,
I have a buddy in the market for an 06/07 X30. Needs to be in great shape - no fixer-uppers! We are in the Salt Lake City area but willing to look wherever for the right boat.

Why specifically an 06/07?

Newer hull design than 05 but prior to all the electronic instrumentation starting in 08. And of course, the budget.

I've got too much custom work put in this boat to let it go at that price.

Additional

amps
XM7s
pumps
custom sacs
star gazer
props
swim step
fold down brackets

More like 50k, sorry.

That picture compels me to go to the garage and do some more waxing. Very nice!

Are you still using your custom surf swim deck? Wanna sell me your original teak deck?

Sorry, I'll hang on to it and let it go with the boat. Would hate to have someone buy it and then have to look for step if they didn't want to use the surf step.

I'll keep an eye and ear out for ya in case I see something that might work for you.

Good luck.

Let's move this over to the other thread. Post up your questions there so we don't derail this. ;)

Buyer-be-ware! Drove 11 hours (each way) to check out the boat in this onlyinboards ad
http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=36049
Boat is nowhere near new, I believe the 6.0 engine is the LQ9 which has 385 HP (not 400) and has 226 hours (not 165), additional plumbed-in ballast doesn't include bags (just the plumbing), no shower, table is missing, port trailer fender has significant damage that seller didn't reveal in the additional photos that were sent. Lots of oil in the bilge. Photos in the ad were apparently taken when the boat was new.

Here is a nice one in Texas. I know the guy selling it and he is a great guy.

Thanks for the lead. What's the story behind the new engine?

Found the one:
http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/boa/3596705374.html
Not even enough hours on her for the first oil change!
Not thrilled with the gel scheme/graphics so he is having the vinyl swapped for these 2010 graphics:
http://www.bhmtrilakes.com/new_galleria.asp?sid=07395746X2K28K2013J8I28I33JPM Q2678R0&veh=148387&CatDesc=Boats&
Updated graphics make it look like a completely different boat.
Had the local dealer go through it and everything checks out. Needs new tires, guide post covers, install a heater and, eventually, a new UFP actuator to replace the Reliable (kind of any oxymoron, isn't it?).
A thorough detail to satisfy the MCOCD and my buddy ends up with a mint X30. Glad it worked out for him.
