I saw the news this am. Having lived in Au for a couple of years I have a full appreciation of the magnitude of this test win. Good going.

When does England play India?

Not sure about your comment about the whole world...

Cheers

Brad

Cricket...what the hell is that? I though it was a little bug that went chirp, chirp. ;) Do they get 100K plus at one of those games like a NASCAR race? Or do they have higher TV ratings than the Super Bowl?

With all that work, you think they would have gotten something other that ashes.

when england lost a test match to australia in 1882.the bails(pieces of wood on top of the stumps) were ceremoniously burnt and placed in an urn to mark the " death" of english cricket....we have played australia for them every 2 or 3 yrs ever since.........

If this was just a test match, when do they play the real match?

Or is there a rule that you have to call any sporting event that includes players breaking for tea and crumpets a "test" match? :D

Technically there are international teams in Major League Baseball, if you count Canada.

Then again, looking at the Montreal Expos and the Toronto Blue Jays, I guess you're right.

Expos moved to Washington this year and are in the hunt for the wildcard. Amazing how a change in venue can have such a dramatic effect.

I recall a couple of back to back "World Series" for the ol' Jays in 92 and 93
