My 1988 PS200 is missing the three fasteners that secure the back panel that closes up the transom area. Any suggestions on what to use?

Thanks,

Mike

I believe they were stainless screws with finishing washers (counter sink washer).

Maybe so, but the holes in the fiberglass behind the panel are too big for the screws to bite.

So just fill the hole with some chop glass and resin and re drill. It's quick easy and cheap

...or you can epoxy some stainless nuts to the back side of the panel, use machine screws instead of sheet metal screws.

If you want to go the full MCOCD route, epoxy some stainless nylock nuts to the backside, that would guarantee that the screws would never work themselves loose.

I had the same problem on my '86. I got some of the small plastic drywall anchors at the hardware store along with some stainless screws with trim washers. That was four years ago and it's still holding well.

That is exactly how my 86 is. I think it came like that.

Thanks all for your suggestions. Other than changing the carpet I'm down to the small details for my to-do list.
