Anyone want a google (gmail) account.

I have 50 invitations left and that is the only way you can register.
If so give me your e-mail.

Yeah, what is gmail? I suppose I could look it up, what would rather hear the details from you.

I've got 50 to hand out, too.

Basically, it's all about storage and attachments. Oh, and you can search your mail with a google search engine, too.

2 gigs of storage. 10 mb attachments. Free I tells ya. But don't put anything confidential on there as Google scans the email for search purposes.

I think it's less userfriendly than other free providers. BUT, you can add an overwritten skin (http://www.skingmail.com/) to have it laid out and look like what ever you can imagine. Even the basic version is great when you tool around with it. The full blown version is expected to launch in October.

I still don't get it...... I have the more capacity on my regular email acct. Cost is about $120 per year for 150 email accounts. Not free but it's not being watched by anyone either.

all email/internet activity is being watched by big brotha, so what difference does it make...GMAIL rocks, so much storage space and you can easily send photos through it and Picasa (great photo organizer and printer by Google) and they're FREE!!!

my fav GMAIL feature is the "Instant Message" categorizing of same email subject lines, so that way you don't have a full email box of the same string...it keeps track of them all in order as one message...gotta sign up for one and at least try it out...
