If it's safe to assume it has a filter on it now... get the # off of it and then you can do a cross reference to the filter brand of your choice.
Sorry I don't have the # or I'd give it to you. :)

Napa Gold 1060 or 1069 - I use the 1060 which is larger, and (I think, I hope) has more filtration media in it. The 1069 size is what came stock. You won't find it at Autozone, but at (think about it) NAPA auto parts stores. It's made by Wix, IIRC, which is one of the better manufacturers. I think the Indmar recommended filter is a Pennzoil PZ-3.

Other filters should cross-reference to it. This thread (http://mastercraft.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=51445) has a link to a report that at least lists a lot of common equivalents.

If you want numbers to cross-reference, the Pennzoil PZ-3 is the short filter and AC PF1218 is the long one. Just use the book or electronic guide to see the other brands' part numbers.

There are some great articles on quality of oil filters. I just put in a fram extended service oil oil filter which is great construction. Some frams are really piss poor so pays to do some reasearch. Agree withall that the longer filters are better option than the short standard design if your clearance works ( plenty on my 205v)

Looks like Fram finally got the hint and got rid of the cardboard ends on the filter media assembly...

Personally, will never buy a fram filter again...

Couldnt find where they stopped cardboard end on most of them. Extended guard ( not even listed on their site) seems well made. The others im not so sure....
