Good luck to all in the Mid-Atlantic and New England area. Stay safe. I spoke to my father who lives on the Chesapeake Bay, they are on the "good" side of the storm so it's not too bad. You guys further north may not be so lucky. Stay safe!

Weird, we in FL are getting your kind of weather (40s/50s, windy) and your getting ours (hurricanes!).

They are predicting 30 footers on Lake Michigan...does that warrant a small craft advisery?

We came through all ok. The water is still about 2 feet over our pier here on the Severn River near Annapolis, MD. We never lost power. The temperature dropped radically and we the wood stove going this morning. Actually, it looks like a "leaf bomb" went off outside."

I'll have to get one of the marina, pier, and the boat ramp. However, I have one from between the pier and our neighborhood swimming hole (pond). There is riprap between the river and the shore that is completely underwater. Too, you can see to the right of the photo that a bench is almost under water.

The canals on the South Shore of Long Island are littered with boats, some floating, some that have sunk, and some that are sinking. Glad i took my boat home, my marina was destroyed.

We lost power for 12 days, just got internet, cable and phone back today after 14 days.

I live on the west side of NJ, but the Jersey shore got destroyed.
