The interior is a new color for 2013 (pecan). It looks like saddle.
New HID headlights and some dash changes for 2013 too.
This truck is so quiet on the highway.
75 mph is just under 2000 rpm's (3.55 rear)
Sony stereo really kicks a**.
Purchased it on my actual 50th birthday, Oct 19th.
I have not owned a Ford since my 1988 Dually, Ford has come a long way!
Love my truck! :)

My buddy has an F-150 with the EcoBoost engine - I was very impressed with it towing to Bike Week last year.

Let us know how it is towing the heavier boat and also what kind of gas mileage you get while towing.

Happy Birthday!

rented an explorer this last weekend with sync..... I could sure see it's potential
enjoyed Pandora over bluetooth connection, and the keyless automatic lock and unlock.

back up camera spooked me, when I was backing up 1/2 distance to vehicle behind me according to the camera, I was too close for comfort, plus couldn't open the lift gate.... I guess when the camera gets into the red section, you've done backed into the guy behind you:rolleyes:

After

This truck is so quiet on the highway.
Love my truck! :)

My father in law bought one last year.... could not believe how quiet and how nice the highway driving was. My truck is 4 years older than his with the same trim and its a night and day reference. Huge jump in ride quality in a few short years. If I didn't hate a car payment I'd have one asap.

I told someone else on this forum that the only thing I don't like is that the inter-coolers seemed to be to exposed to road debris. He had some major dings in the cooling fins after a couple months. He ended up fabing up some mesh that protected them. I used to work on Audi/Porsche cars with turbos and they always had some mesh/grill to protect the intercoolers. Beat up coolers can effect performance

Be real careful and inspect the inter-cooler. We have several new Fords at work and two have had troubles. One of my construction coordinators went to pass a vehicle a few months ago....he pulled out, nailed it, and started skipping...scared him pretty good. similar situation on other truck. Ended up replacing inter-coolers on both. I love the trucks, unbeleiveable power with good feul efficiency.

I'm turning 50 in a couple weeks and can't decide what present to buy myself. New boat, new car, nice vacation, new guitar, new bottle of gin... You just added to my problem. ;)

Beautiful truck. I just might have to go to the Ford dealer tomorrow.
Happy belated birthday!

Nice truck. I had a brand new 2012 Platinum Ecoboost that I just sold recently and it was probably my favorite truck of every one I've owned.

"Platinum" trim. They also have a "Limited" for 2013 but the seats are brick red and the wheels are 22's, niether of which I wanted. You can also get black seats in the Platinum.

I am ordering an aftermarket billet grill to help protect the intercooler. Under $50
Can't believe Ford doesn't put one there in the first place.
Also ordering a hard tonneau cover for it from Undercover, body colored of course.

www.f150forum.com is a great place to learn a lot about these trucks.

Where did you order that billet grill from? I have a '11 F-150 w/EcoBoost and am wanting to do the same, especially w/our first real snow today---the sand and rocks on the roads will be coming soon.
Btw, love the truck. I like mine more and more each day.
