I've heard conflicting numbers re: the gap on this engine's spark plug.
Mine is a 2008 (MPI) with ETX Cat exhaust.
The manual I have states .060" - and a nearby mechanic says it should be .040".
I thought maybe some engine experts on TT could set it straight!

Thanks.

I do believe I would follow the manual...

.060 is what I went with this Summer based on manuals and SkiDim.

I believe the Iridium plugs come gapped at that out of the box.

Iridium plug gap is set during manufacturing and should not be changed or damage to the spark plug may result, any new spark plug found to not be properly gapped should not be used.
